Water Garden Adventures: Metzler Place

So today marked the Second Day of Water Garden Adventures: Metzler Place.
It was rainy and wet and gross outside so we decided to still meet, we being
Carolyn and I, and started planning where everything, being the pond, the bench,
the walkway, etc., is going. Carolyn made European Chocolate brownies with 
raspberry tea and frozen yogurt for me. It was very good. Very Good.

So we went outside, when it was semi-not raining, and Carolyn showed me the
rock with the face in it. The Face is much like those over-large rocks on
Easter Island, so I decided, being so clever, to flatten down the tall grass and to
step over onto the large rock with the face on it. So I was looking down, and
noticed little buzzing things by my feet, but nothing registered in my brain. So
we continued talking about the rock. We started back to the house, only for
me to hear Carolyn yell, "OUCH!"

I looked, she had gotten stung by something, so she was flicking it off when I ran
back to get her shoe that she dropped, and I heard another, "OUCH!" SHE
HAD GOTTEN STUNG AGAIN! So I bent down to pick up the shoe, and started
toward Carolyn, and then I got stung on my right hand! OUCH! I started running with
one of Carolyn's shoes in my hands, and she was still fiddling with her previous two stings
and she yelled, "OUCH!" once more. She got stung I believe twice on her arm and once
on her foot, all of which looked horrible.

No Photos today folks, the camera was there but the ambition was not. We went
down by the lake to see if the lilly-pads were still growing, there were a few, but I
didn't go swimming to get them. Tomorrow (August 29th) I am going wading in the river
with waders to look for plants for my fishtank. Hopefully I can find some good looking ones
that I can wash off to get the river germs out with. Ian is going to be accompanying me if he
doesn't have one of his mood swings again, which would totally terminate our, "friendship,"
which isn't anything great as we speak as it is. Hopefully, for his sake, he doesn't.
